Here in the mountains, we know summer has truly arrived then the Elder trees are crowned with umbels of tiny, creamy-white flowers.
Prized by herbalists (including myself), elderflowers are rich in antioxidants and have a cooling, astringent effect. They've traditionally been used by wise women to minimize signs of aging and improve the overall appearance of the skin (read: to boost glow!).
The base of this simple cream is a light, gentle grapeseed oil infused with freshly harvested elderflowers. Because of the very mild astringent effect of the flowers, this cream is great for everyone, but especially wonderful for people with oily or combination skin.
Because I believe less is more when it comes to taking care of delicate facial skin, this cream doesn't contain any fragrances.
Contains: elderflowers, grapeseed oil, coconut oil, beeswax, reverse osmosis water, aloe vera, leucidal SF (natural preservative derived from radish roots), vitamin E
1 oz. glass jar.
This cream is made in very small batches to ensure it's as fresh as possible when you receive it - it contains only natural preservatives, and will not last quite as long as those containing chemicals and synthetic ingredients. Try to use within 3-4 months and store your cream in a cool dark place. Using clean, dry fingers to scoop it out will help to prolong the shelf life. If you notice any change in appearance or scent, or if skin becomes irritated, discontinue use. Always do a patch test when trying out a new product.
