The original Plant Pits deodorant has consistently been a favorite - it's effective, comes in delicious scents, and contains nothing but safe, natural ingredients. Yet sadly, for some people with very sensitive skin, baking soda can be a bit harsh and difficult to adjust to.
But everyone deserves Plant Pits!
So, after a ton of ingredient research and experimentation, Plant Pits Baking Soda Free was born. It contains magnesium hydroxide, a compound made from a naturally occurring mineral that helps to absorb odor. If you need something gentle but still effective, this is the option for you.
To use: apply a pea-sized amount to pits, and then continue to live your best, funk-free life!
Rose contains: emulsifying wax, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, magnesium hydroxide, arrowroot powder, essential oil of rose
**A note about natural deodorants: when switching from chemical deodorants to all-natural, some people experience what is called a "detox period", during which their armpits may feel sensitive and a bit irritated. This is thought to be a symptom of the body adjusting to the natural elimination of toxins. If your pits feel a bit irritated at first, try waiting about 30 minutes after showering to apply the deodorant. Of course, if irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use.
