**A note about natural deodorants: when switching from chemical deodorants to all-natural, some people experience what is called a "detox period", during which their armpits may feel sensitive and a bit irritated. This is thought to be a symptom of the body adjusting to the natural elimination of toxins. It maybe also be a slight sensitivity/adjustment period to using baking soda. If your pits feel a bit irritated at first, try waiting about 30 minutes after showering to apply the deodorant, and give it a little time to adjust. Of course, if irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use.**
