Warming Cayenne Pain Relieving Salve
Cayenne pepper, though viewed by many as a simple kitchen spice, is also an excellent pain reliever - capsaicin, the chemical that makes cayenne so spicy, works directly on the nervous system to relieve pain.
For this salve, I blended cayenne with healing herbs like comfrey, yarrow, and st. john's wort to create a balm that not only reduces pain but can help promote deep healing as well.
I would recommend this salve for stiff, sore, injured or strained muscles, nerves and joints, and especially arthritis pain.
All organic: olive oil, cayenne pepper, comfrey leaf, yarrow, skullcap, goldenrod, st. john's wort, nettle, calendula flowers, mullein leaf, beeswax.
4 oz or 2 oz tin.
